Liver Cleanse Soup

A delicious liver cleanse soup recipe to provide a gentle detox and nourish the body during the winter season.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 cups Bone Broth
  • 2 cup Broccoli chopped
  • 2 cup Zucchini chopped
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 1 cup Kale spinach, and/ or swiss chard, chopped
  • 1 cup fennel white part, chopped
  • 4 cloves fresh Garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup Parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Coriander
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 Canned Coconut Milk

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large pot on medium-high heat. Add olive oil, onion, and garlic. Stir frequently.
  • After about 3 minutes, add broccoli, zucchini, greens, fennel, and parsley. Stir frequently.
  • Add bone broth, salt, pepper, black pepper, coriander, and cumin. Stir and cover with a lid.
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 20-25 minutes (until veggies are soft).
  • Add coconut milk and stir.
  • Transfer the soup to a blender and blend until smooth OR use an immersion blender to blend in pot until smooth.
  • Return to the saucepan and reheat if needed. Add more salt and pepper if needed.
